    Marius, are you available for work? If you would potentially like some wordpress work, please drop me a line via my website. Let me know what you are able to do, and any availability if you have any. Apologies I couldn’t find any contact details for you anywhere.

    Thanks Marius, sorry for the delay got locked out of the hub again, happens all the time for some reason, I just get Members only screen, then anything from a few days to a week later it’s ok again weird.

    This was entirely my mistake, I didn’t realised it had changed from Crocal/MoveDo and now needed an index before the links. I’ve added the index and it’s fine now.

    Thanks for the help.

    If using the default portfolio archive page, there is no way to add metadata to this page. Could just use the Portfolio Archive Description.

    @Marius1989

    Yep running 2 form plug-ins. But I need to change that.

    Contact form 7 for the beautiful styling options Impeka provides. For the contact form using the safe mode area item. Love it.

    Gravity forms for the much more complicated client onboarding forms in the footer. Gravity makes is so quick and easy to add these, complete with complex conditional logic.

    I’m back!!! Been locked out of the Hub for a month. I think Greatives hate me (joke).

    so the site is now super fast.

    iam 39 speed test

    I upgraded to a new server. Vultr HF running litespeed. Tweaked a few plug-ins. Switched Rank Math for SEO-Press for example.

    no issues here either.
    I am finding the backend of impeka slow on low spec servers, single core for example.
    But I have migrated these sites to better servers, High Frequency and/or multi-core, and its super fast on these.

    Sill only using WPBakery, haven’t even tried elementor with Impeka yet. WPBakery is so good with this theme, so many options, I’ve have no requirement for anything else.

    I’m playing with Oxygen on some other sites, but it doesn’t use a theme at all, and its a steep learning curve. But very impressive.

    You could probably do it with some CSS, something like this….

    .grve-read-more {
    background: #000000;
    padding: 10px;
    color: #ffffff !important;
    }
    .grve-arrow-line {
    display: none;
    }
    .grve-arrow-point {
    display: none;
    }

    I’m sure one of the Devs will give you a much better snippet than that though.

    agreed maybe I need to try a different plug-in for SEO, I like Rank Math, but maybe its to heavy. I hear good things about SEOPress, what do you use?

    I’m using GridPane and I have this site on a Digital Ocean 3 GB Memory / 60 GB Disk / LON1 – Ubuntu 18.04.3 (LTS) x64 server all though its only 1 core, and has a handful of sites on it. I think I may try to migrate this site to its own at least dual core server and rerun the same tests.

    Plug-ins is pretty light. Heres a list….

    ShortPixel Image Optimizer
    v4.22.2 – by ShortPixel More
    UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
    v2.16.58.25 – by UpdraftPlus.Com, DavidAnderson More

    Most site optimisation is done by the theme, and server stack. Using ShortPixel to optimise images.

    I’ve been investigating with Thanasis, and it seems that their is some issue with the feature image section at the head of the page. He is looking in to this. This warning is only present in Google Measure and is not present in GTMetrix. See 2 images, showing featured section off and featured section on, 2.5 seconds different.
    featured element on
    featured element off
    and the offending code
    featured element
    I’ve also tested this on another site, using Crocal, and the same warning is present. But again only in Google Measure, not in GTMetrix. And this is only a single image featured element. Very odd.

    Maybe they need to add a generic label in the theme for the responsive burger menu?

    I replace the text for read more as you suggested and it cleared that warning, thanks very much for the tip πŸ™‚ appreciated
