    Hey there,

in the past weeks I collected some ideas how to make Impeka even more powerful.
First, just some very general and basic topics, any Impeka user could benefit from.
I might extend the list, depended on the feedback here below the post.

    – Custom Widget to select an area item. Sidebars and the (sliding) Page Side Area could be designed with the entire Impeka power.
    – Custom SVG Icons for Safe Button, Mobile Menu, Side Area – which simply can be selected from the media library. Also options for “Icon”, “Label” and “Icon & Label” would be useful for the mentioned areas
    – Modals, which are triggered on page load, could be reminded when to open again. E.g. after page reload, in every new session, after 7 days, after 1 month.
    – Option to add own Icon Library with Page Builder Elements integration / Option to disable specific and/or all implemented Icon Libraries
    – additional Navigation Layouts for Blog and Portfolio Items (maybe more basic ones)

Any feedback about this is much appreciated. I am looking forward to some good discussions.
Disclaimer: This is not a feature request list, I don’t have any specific use case for the mentioned points in mind.

    Thanks.

Love all these ideas. An area item as a widget is a great idea.

    – on One-Pages, the current menu item could receive an active class, so we can see, in which section we currently are. That also counts for anchor menus (additional here on mobile devices, switch the menu item automatically, dependend on which section you are)

    – Menu Items could receive an option, where we can choose, whether sub menu appears on hover or on click. Since we have now the opportunity to place area items inside the sub-menu, this would be a pretty nice extension to the current behavior

Let me add one thing: The custom style of WPBakery, you made for Impeka is very nice. I guess no one of my clients will ever go back to the standard style of WPB, that other themes use. 🙂

Here is a proposal though: The modal, that contains all the WPB elements could be more compact and show more elements without having to scroll. Why not using 5 columns (20% width) and less padding!?

Thanks for implementing my proposal. 🙂

    I just can agree @hiegl.
Thank you so much for making Impeka better and more powerful with each single update, Greatives.

Still no option to use area items to place it inside the side area?

@Marius1989 I will discuss this again with the other guys, not sure how easy and safe it is. For sure, we have no plans for such changes within this month. BTW, there will be a new release by tomorrow with quite a few improvements and a new demo.

    Thanks again for your feedback!

Also, if you create the content you need, then copy-paste the VC code in the shortcode widget and remove the padding from the grve-area-container you will have exactly the same result.

    Thanks for your feedback, @Kosmas.

Yeah, I know about the mentioned approach and wouldn’t mind about that and so many other things about I claimed here.
The thing is, I generally have to make client’s life as easy and convenient as possible, so some things won’t be an option for me unfortunately, although they are pretty easy to achieve.

To be fair, this time, I consider using Impeka for a personal project so it wouldn’t matter that much.
Still, I just recognized there isn’t a backdrop/overlay for the side area and sliding area yet, which is a real problem for me. I think there even was a dedicated thread about it here, not sure.

Loved the side area in Movedo and used it in almost every project. With Impeka, I didn’t had the opportunity to use it once to due the mentioned things.

Looking forward to the new release tomorrow 🙂
