You could probably do it with some CSS, something like this….

.grve-read-more {
background: #000000;
padding: 10px;
color: #ffffff !important;
}
.grve-arrow-line {
display: none;
}
.grve-arrow-point {
display: none;
}

I’m sure one of the Devs will give you a much better snippet than that though.
