ParticipantI think I found a bug. If I refresh the page when I’m in the middle, the Sticky Header background disappears. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,
this is already known and the team is working on a solution. Just to let you know, as I reported it via private ticket.
Cheers,
BernhardMay 28, 2021 at 12:42 pm #270Hello,
I believe the issue was partially fixed in last update.
Final solution will be implemented in next release.Thanasis
May 28, 2021 at 2:34 pm #271The issue only shows up when overlapping is set for the header.
Thanks a lot for fixing this.Bernhard
June 2, 2021 at 8:11 pm #290Just updated and the issue is still here. Looks like this is a hard nut to crack.
June 3, 2021 at 11:29 am #294Hi Bernhard! Are you sure about this?
June 3, 2021 at 11:46 am #297I will send you a link to my site, where this still happens, in my ticket. I guess you can access the tickets, right?
June 3, 2021 at 11:47 am #298Hey there.
I can confirm, what Bernhard says.Kosmas, would you quickly have a look at your demo site, please?
“Homepage 1” is working fine for me.
“Homepage 2”, “Homepage 3” the bug still appears. So it seems, it might partially be fixed. On version 1.1, “Homepage 1” had this issue also, I just double checked that.
I also switched the header overlapping option from “yes” to “default” and on theme settings to “yes”. Same result.
Maybe someone can also check it out. I am on Windows, tested with Chrome and Firefox.June 3, 2021 at 11:55 am #299Yes, it’s the scroll up sticky header. Believe me, it’s more complicated than it seems. However, in your site Bernhard I cannot see the issue.
We’ll give it another try in the next theme release 🙁June 3, 2021 at 12:02 pm #301Interesting, that I see it on one of my sites and on another I see the header get transparent for a fraction of a second and then the color comes back.
Ah, wait: It happens only on Firefox and Safari here, but in Chrome the color returns after a small flash.
June 9, 2021 at 6:46 pm #342The latest update fixed this for me. Thanks for all your hard work.
June 9, 2021 at 7:12 pm #343Can confirm this. Really nice work. Guess it was not an easy task to resolve issues like that with so many dependencies.
Thank you!Out of pure interest:
Was it not possible to “restore” the scroll-up-sticky header to the state where it was right before page reload?
Or does it work now how it was intended to be?Anyway. Happy to see major issues like that are always on top of your list.
Cheers!June 10, 2021 at 1:23 pm #345Thank you guys for your feedback! We will keep improving Impeka with your help of course.
BTW, it would be great to post your first creations with Impeka here – https://hub.greatives.eu/forums/forum/impeka/showcase/. We are going to publish real case studies from our customers on our official website this summer.
June 15, 2021 at 1:53 pm #351Is there any known issue, when disabling certain scripts, the sticky header will not work as intended?
I didn’t check all but I found 2, when doing some speed tests and trying to improve performance, etc.
– FitVids
– LightGalleryI mean, there shouldn’t be any dependencies regarding the header, or am I missing something?
LightGallery also disables some blog/portfolio types btw, where I don’t understand some do work and some don’t.
It would be great if there is not a dependency on the page builder element, but not sure how it works. Maybe there is a quick fix.September 4, 2023 at 10:59 pm #7522Hello, I’ve run into this issue over the past couple of months. I’ve read through the thread above/below and it seems like there a was a fix for it but my install/version doesn’t want to cooperate. Can you help with this…familynesting.org is the site I’m experience the problem with.
