    Hi all!

It would be great to know which builder Impeka users prefer. Let’s discuss this.

Personally I prefer Visual Composer, mainly because it’s very easy to train customers on the basics.
However I’m interested to see what speed benefits are gained by using Gutenberg.

Some months ago it looked like Elementor could soon take over the whole WPBakery universe. Today this seems to have changed. For my projects WPBakery is still the more solid solution and it has the better overall performance. The adventure of the WPBakery team to pull most customers into their new product seems also to have failed in my view. So right now I would really see some old problems of WPB resolved but despite those it is still my way to go.

For me, the recommended solution is the enhanced WPBakery page builder, especially for designers who look at every small detail. There are options in Impeka’s enhanced builder that you cannot find in Elementor. The main advantage of Elementor is the front-end editor and that is what made it popular. I also agree that the WPBakery team’s decision was wrong. In my opinion, they should have made all the necessary changes to the existing product and, for sure, they could have done it.

Seems Elementor are losing their shine at the moment. Between Oxygen and WPBakery Improvements, and Gutenberg getting better, I can’t see myself using Elementor for anything really.

I think the main selling point of Elementor is the front-end building/editing.
It also might be more intuitive but I am not sure about it, I never tried it and I probably never will.
Yes, WPBakery also has this feature, but let’s be honest. It’s more or less useless, at least in its default behavior.
I personally don’t mind this, because working back-end is much more efficient.

The Greatives’ Enhanced Page Builder is so powerful, it gives you almost complete freedom, which is very important to me.
Sometimes I am missing custom options here and there, when I only have the choice of some presets though, or some UI improvements would be appreciated.
But hey, this is just the start of this journey, and I am sure the team have big plans with Impeka, continuously will improve and extend features and our experience, listening to the community.

Interesting to see, Elementor doesn’t get a single vote in direct comparision to WPB. But I also see who voted and I am not surprised by the result.

I have doubts which of the two use, elementor never used it, and wpbakery a few years ago.

which of the two is lighter?
which loads less css and js kbs?
which produces less bloated html code?

    Thanks

    Hi,

despite some other opinions I tested performance from the beginning of the Elementor-hype and for me WPBakery has always been the lighter solution. It depends though a lot on how theme authors implement everything. I just had to check a theme for a client, that is all the rage an TF, but after just 5min of testing I have to say, that it’s WPBakery implementation is a nightmare. Greatives has one of the best implementations I knew. It is reliable and fast.

    Cheers,
    Bernhard
